My Project
For my EDGE project I studied abroad in Japan for four weeks in May of 2018. I traveled through out the country of Japan, learning about their culture and their nutrition. I went to children's schools, various Japanese homes, sports games, and various cultural activities.

Purpose
I wanted to do this global EDGE project for a few different reasons. The first is that my major is nutrition and having the opportunity to study nutrition abroad in a different country and a different culture is so exciting. I really enjoyed learning all of the different things that make Japan so special and what make it one of the highest ranking countries on nutrition. The second being I have always wanted to go to Japan, but probably never would have had the opportunity to do so without this study abroad trip.
